Remembrance Day – Sunday 10th November 2019

Date: 5th Nov 2019 Author: Tony Reissner

On Remembrance Sunday we join with others in the community from local churches, synagogues, veterans’ associations and other scouts, guides and youth organisations to attend this act of Remembrance.

We will be meeting at Christchurch at 10:00am and leaving at 10:15am to march with others to the War Memorial in Watling Street. Please park in Newberries car park. There is parking at the Church only for Disabled badge holders.

We then will stand with the flag bearers (including ours) and lay wreaths from the various organisations and community associations. The service will finish at approximately 11:15am and everyone is invited to Radlett Reform Synagogue for refreshments.

When on parade we require smart full uniform (with caps for Scouts) preferably without a coat so the uniform can be seen! If the weather is cold, wear extra layers underneath.

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
